Growth
The first sight of his tiny hands
An invigorating moment for anyone
His cheeks so soft
Like the wool of alpaca
In tender hands he grows
Slowly with the strides of manhood
Making a match to his becoming
Far away from home
Whistling in his ears,
The struggle for the top
He cries;
"It's harder than I thought".
Overwhelming yet exciting
This difficult transition
Begets a school of thought:
The highs and the lows matter.
